One scam involves a person calling or emailing our attendees from Natl Travel Arrangements (855.319.7666). The author's apparent intent is to mislead you that their offer is made on behalf of the the GRC which it is not.

They are NOT affiliated with the Geothermal Resources Council in any way. Do not be fooled into giving your information to them.

The Geothermal Resources Council will not call you or fax you a rooming list to ask for your credit card number when making a hotel reservation. Please contact the hotel directly using the information above.

GRC 34th Annual Geothermal Amateur Photography Contest

As part of the Geothermal 2013 Annual Meeting in Las Vegas, Nevada, GRC will hold its 34th Amateur Photo Contest. The purpose of the contest is to showcase quality photography featuring geothermal energy and to augment the GRC’s photo library. Only amateur photographers are eligible to participate.

Entries must be received by the GRC office no later than August 30, 2013 to qualify for this year’s contest.

First Annual Women in Geothermal Meeting California Geothermal Energy Collaborative (CGEC)

After receiving a huge amount of interest in forming a women in geothermal group, the CGEC has created "WinG" Women in Geothermal. The primary objective of WinG is to promote the education, professional development, and advancement of women in the geothermal community. We invite and encourage both women and men in geothermal to join us in our first annual reception to network and discuss WinG's mission and activities moving forward.
