GRC Awards Luncheon - Wednesday, September 23

The GRC Awards recognize distinguished colleagues in the geothermal community from around the world and have been a highlight of the geothermal calendar since the late 1970’s.

The winners will be honored at the GRC Awards Luncheon, the climax to the GRC Annual Meeting being held at the Peppermill Resort Spa, Reno, Nevada, USA from September 20–23. The theme for this year’s meeting is Geothermal: Always On.

GRC Student Leadership Luncheon

Tuesday, September 22, 12 Noon - 1:30pm                           Room: Naples 7                            Cost: Free for students

Industry leaders will meet with students attending the GRC Annual Meeting during Tuesday’s lunch hour. Discussions between the leaders and students over lunch will provide one-on-one opportunities to share ideas about key topics on a variety of geothermal interests.

The primary objective of WING is to promote the education, professional development, and advancement of women in the geothermal community. WING is a not a 'Girls Club' we want and need the support of the other 50% of the population. So all are welcome and encouraged to attend all the WING events. In fact we'd love to see you blokes there.

WING events are FREE you do not need to be registered for the GRC/GEA Event to attend.

Tuesday, September 22. Outdoor adventure - all levels welcome. Meet at the Peppermill reception at 6:00am.

Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. 6-7am. All welcome. Meet at the Yoga Room in the Fitness Centre, at the Peppermill at 6am (they have mats available but if you prefer to bring your own please do so).

Guided meditation on Monday, September 21 at 1:30-1:45pm, Tuesday at 2:30-2:45pm and Wednesday 23 at 9:45-10am. Other times you can pick up narrated meditation on the WING Facebook page and listen on your own device. All welcome. Catering office, located in the promenade hallway towards the GRC Meeting room , Peppermill.

WING has organised a 20% discount for a spa service for ladies at Peppermills Spa Toscana. You are also able to receive a 20% discount on any spa products you may wish to purchase. Just mention that you a re attending the GRC at the time of reservation and you will receive the discount. NB: this deal does not include the Day Pass however is you spend more than $60 on a spa service you have all day access to the spa (till 9pm that day.

The 2014 GRC Transactions are now available for free download by members:

Click here for a list of the articles. To download the 2014 Transactions or email citation lists, please sign in as a member in the upper right-hand corner of the screen. Non-members can join the GRC or order individual articles. All GRC PDFs from 2013 and earlier, plus several thousand additional non-GRC PDFs, are available for free download by everyone without signing in.

The 2014 GRC Transactions were given free to all 3-day registrants at the GRC Annual Meeting in Portland, Oregon.
