GRC Conference Banquet
Monday October 6, Peppermill Tahoe Grand Ballroom

Join your friends and geothermal colleagues for an elegant evening of gourmet food and music at the Peppermill's beautiful Tahoe Ballroom. Scheduled for Monday, October 6, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m., the GRC Banquet will feature hosted adult beverages, hors d'oeuvres, and a wonderful dinner. You and your guest will enjoy the gourmet cuisine and service provided by the Peppermill's award winning chefs and catering staff.

Please don't forget to enjoy the breath taking mountain views the ballroom has to offer while you mix and mingle with your fellow colleagues. This spacious ballroom also provides intimate spots for private conversations as well. The Tahoe Ballroom is located upstairs away from the hotel's casino busy traffic and noise to provide the perfect atmosphere for GRC's Annual Banquet. The privacy of the ballroom allows you to get lost and feel like you are in a cozy gathering instead of a large spacious hotel. Banquet price is $85 per person. All participants must be registered and have their tickets in hand prior to the event. Credit cards, checks or cash cannot be accepted at the door.

GRC Member Meeting & Awards Luncheon
Wednesday October 8, Peppermill Tahoe Grand Ballroom

Conference participants are cordially invited to register for the GRC Annual Member Meeting & Awards Luncheon at 12:00-2:00 pm on Wednesday, October 8. The GRC will present its Aidlin, Pioneer, and Special Achievement Awards, recognizing unique contributions the GRC and innovations in the development of geothermal energy. The GEA will also recognize outstanding exhibits at its Trade Show, and the GRC will announce its Best Poster Award. The price for the Luncheon is $35. All participants must be registered and have their tickets in hand prior to the event. Credit cards, checks, or cash cannot be accepted at the door.

Evening Networking Opportunities
Dinner Roundtables!

This is an opportunity to network with your colleagues who you otherwise might not have a chance to spend time with. We will post a list of local restaurants offering a variety of delicious dining choices, showing price ranges, locations and examples from the menus. We ask that participants sign up on Monday and Tuesday at the Great Basin Center for Geothermal Energy/Nevada Division of Mineral's shared GEA Booth for dining on October 6 and 7. Transportation will be handled to and from the Peppermill via cabs and/or shuttles at the cab stand at the Peppermill.

Enjoy this opportunity to see some of Reno's dining choices and spend time with new and old friends!
The prices will vary and the dinners and transportation will be paid for by the participants. Please contact Peggy Brown at geothermal@mines.unr.edu or 775-784-7018 for further information.
